Interior walls that once broke the bathroom into separate, closed-off zones came down, opening the layout within the same square footage. The toilet, previously boxed into its own small room, was folded back into the main space, and a former door to the walk-in closet was removed and walled in, freeing up that wall for the vanity to extend onto. The enlarged shower was built with full-height glass, a brushed brass track, a built-in bench, and body jets, paired with a linear, tileable drain custom-installed so the tile insert matches the surrounding floor exactly. An undermount tub set beneath a quartz deck rounds out the room, its clean, furniture-like profile requiring precise coordination between the tub and the surrounding stone to pull off.

Large-format tile in a light beige with subtle veining, drawn from the Ardesia collection’s Sabia colourway, runs throughout the room for a warm, natural stone look with a Taj Mahal-inspired feel. Champagne bronze repeats across the shower glass track, the plumbing fixtures, and the vanity’s wall sconces, which cast a warm white light over the space and tie every finish together. The vanity’s linen tower, finished to match the cabinetry, adds significant storage alongside a separate tall linen closet, all without asking for any additional floor space. The result is a bathroom that reads as traditional at first glance, with just enough contrast in its tones to feel like something bolder.
