Planning for success is a key component in any renovation project. Without a plan to guide you, how can you reach your goal? In the 5th video of our series, Amsted President Steve Barkhouse explains how we plan for success with your project.
Planning for success begins by having your dedicated project coordinator introduce you to your design team, who have been specifically chosen to meet your unique needs.
At this stage, we’ll measure and photograph your existing spaces to ensure accuracy in planning your new space and design. We’ll explore your needs, wants and wishes and discuss how they will impact your budget and schedule.
Working with you, we collect design ideas and inspiration, using things like sketches, magazine cut outs, Houzz and Pinterest. Then your team will work on designing the space that you’ve envisioned while ensuring proper zoning, building code and engineering needs are met.
We’ll present a preliminary scope of work and budget that outlines expectations and timelines so that you can make a confident decision to move forward knowing your design, budget and schedule requirements are met.
