An addition is not always the answer when your home feels cramped. S. Evelyn Cimesa explores our solutions for a busy Nepean family who needed their home to function more efficiently and thought an addition was inevitable.

Poor storage and a cut-up main-floor layout were key challenges to be faced in this project, paired with the common issue of sticking to their budget. A thoughtful consideration of the existing spaces showed there was already plenty of room in the home — it was just hidden by a poor layout.
