One of the most exciting steps in the renovation process is creating the design and it’s an important part of our proven process for success. In the 6th video of our series, Amsted President Steve Barkhouse explains the magic of creation.
Once we have a preliminary budget and design that meets your budget goals, the magic really starts. We build on those original successes as we work collaboratively to flush out the features and functions that will personalize your design and eventually bring it to life.
Using 3D virtual tours, we help you walk through the planned spaces, checking sight lines, function and flow. We also show you mood boards to gather ideas, and present a palette of finish suggestions. And we explore sketches and elevations to make sure all points are covered.
This is the stage where we also bring in our construction team. They draw on their wealth of knowledge and experience to make sure that the design will work well in real life.
Once all of this creative process is fulfilled, we combine everything into a presentation for you that includes budget and scope of work.
With a design you love and a firm budget in mind, you’re ready to move on to the next step.
